1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?
The key learning is 'Information Education.” In the software part, we searched data over the Internet, recorded work progress, using software to create web pages, animation, film processing , and photo images ....... In terms of hardware, we also learned a lot of technology products such as digital cameras, scanners, voice recorder, drawing board, etc. Our capabilities of information technology have greatly improved. 2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.
Campus news anchor: Making presentation, live streaming our newscast on Youtube during lunch break for ten minutes. Promoting Tour: Making posters and promoting Cheguzhen around every classroom. Worksheet: For student from first to fourth grade, we design a worksheet in order to teach them the basic knowledge of Cheguzhen. Online questionnaires: We use Google Forms to create online surveys, so senior students can learn about it through internet. 3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?
Hidden inside art gallery of Yagou community, Hemei-Cheguzhen, is a national treasure, Mr. “Shih Chao-Yang” Revitalization of Yagou community focuses on this folk art to promote itself. Filling new elements into the existing resources, the community can further revitalize itself. Other than its own circulation, “water” also needs outside connections, so it can stay refreshing and energetic. However, only community itself is not enough, Heren elementary school uses the opportunity of cyberfair to document and promote, breaking the limitation of time and space with internet power. We have to be aware of our surroundings. By interviewing, documenting and promoting, we can keep valuable records for these subjects.
