1. Description of Our Community
Hemei is located in northeast Changhua. Its north is Dadu river, west is Xianxi, northwest is Shengang, southeast is Changhua City, southwest is Lukang, south is Xiushui. Heimei is a town in northern part of Changhua County, also one of early developed places in Taiwan. Our town has over three hundred year of history since its initial development. Our ancestors have shed sweat on this land in order to build a warm and peaceful town.
2. Summary of Our Project
We feel that recently historical houses are demolished one by one and replaced by buildings. This phenomenon impels us to form a historical house search team to find historical houses in every village of our town, to document the beauty of historical architecture, to understand past and present of historical houses, and to give little efforts on their future prospects, sustainable operation, or road to rebirth. http://librarywork.taiwanschoolnet.org/gsh2019/gsh8480/description.html
